Accumulated Fragments

My memories of you
Are like a shattered mirror.
Each fragment
Holds a tiny piece
Of our time together.
Drops of light scattered
Across a marble floor.
Silver shards draw blood
As I try
To piece them together.
I never imagined
It would come to this.
On my knees, surrounded by
A million reflections
Of the past.
My one true love and heart,
Shattered and broken.
With bleeding hands
I could reunite the fragments,
But the cracks will always
Remain.
